Reelink provides a social discovery and matching platform that enables users to connect through short reels, profile interactions, messaging, and personalized recommendations. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Reelink mobile application ("App") and related services.
Please read this Policy carefully. By downloading, accessing, or using Reelink, you agree to the terms described below.
1. Information We Collect
1.1. Information You Provide Directly
• Account Information: Name, email address, Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In identifier, and optional profile preferences (such as age range or interests).
• Content Metadata: Reelink does NOT store or host videos, photos, or reels. We only process and temporarily store limited metadata related to publicly available content (such as content URL, platform type, thumbnail URL, caption text, hashtags, and engagement-related metadata) for matching and recommendation purposes.
• In-App Purchases: When you purchase premium features or subscriptions, Apple App Store or Google Play processes the payment. Reelink does not receive or store any payment details (such as credit card numbers or billing information).
1.2. Automatically Collected Information
• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and app usage logs.
• Analytics & Performance Data: Interaction data, crash logs, and performance metrics used to improve app stability and user experience.
• Location Information (Optional): If enabled, we may use approximate location to improve match recommendations.
1.3. AI-Generated and Behavioral Insights
To improve your experience, we may generate:
• content recommendations,
• interaction suggestions,
• automated moderation decisions (e.g., detecting harmful or inappropriate content).
These insights are created using anonymized or pseudonymized data where possible.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
• Create and manage your account.
• Provide the matching, discovery, and messaging features.
• Personalize your recommendations and in-app experience.
• Process in-app purchases and subscriptions.
• Improve app performance, security, and fraud prevention.

3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share minimal necessary information with:
• Service Providers: For analytics, hosting, AI processing, and moderation.
• Payment Platforms: Apple App Store or Google Play Store for billing.
• Law Enforcement: Only when legally required.
• Other Users: Only information you intentionally make public (e.g., profile photos, reels, likes, messages to matched users).
4. User Controls and Your Rights
Depending on your region, you may have the right to:

• Correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your account.
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing.
• Export your data.
You can delete your account at any time from the app settings.
5. Data Deletion
Users can delete their account and all associated data directly from within the Reelink mobile application at any time.
When an account is deleted in-app, all personal information provided by the user (such as profile details, preferences, and usage data) is permanently removed from our systems.
Users may request deletion of their data by emailing support@reelink.app from the email address associated with their account.
Email deletion requests should include the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and sufficient information to help us identify the account.
We verify deletion requests to protect user privacy and prevent unauthorized actions.
All verified data deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
Reelink does not retain personal data after account deletion, except where required by law or for legitimate security and fraud-prevention purposes.
6. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
Reelink offers optional premium features such as:
• additional reels,
• daily swipe extensions,
• visibility boosts,
• exclusive match filters.
All purchases are handled by Apple or Google.
Reelink does not store or process full payment information.
Subscription renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by:
• Apple Media Services Terms & Conditions, or
• Google Play Terms of Service, depending on your platform.
7. Safety and Content Moderation
We use a combination of:
• automated systems,
• AI-powered detection,
• human review (when necessary)
to identify harmful, abusive, or inappropriate behavior.
Users violating our policies may have content removed or accounts restricted.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security practices to protect your data.
However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
If a data breach affecting your information occurs, we will notify you as required by law.
9. Children's Privacy
Reelink is intended for users above 18 years old.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16 (or local minimum age).

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.
When we update the policy, the "Last Updated" date will be changed.
